This promotional project was our first experience doing contract work for a client. For this project I worked with a team consisting of Ryan Gielow, Shivani Kulkarni, and Nathan Vredenbregt to edit the footage that our entire class went in and recorded. As a result we had a lot of footage to go through and cut down into a short 2-minute video. The downside is even though we had tons of good footage to choose from, our class had trouble organizing and tracking down all of the audio and video into one comprehensive file. That said, after watching over 2 hours of footage we were finally able to select the best of the best. I was the lead editor of the project and composited the entire video into the final render. I also edited sound and developed the animation that plays in the intro and outtro using after effects and photoshop. Shivani & Ryan assisted in watching through and selecting footage in addition to developing the nameplates in photoshop. Nathan also assisted in watching through hours of footage and even went to film additional footage at the last minute. The project took over 3 weeks of post-production, not including the week we filmed the footage, and I believe this project was a definite success, as our clients will attest to as well.
